The Advantage Travel Partnership Announce Latitude Cruise Conference to Be Hosted in Amsterdam

At its conference today in Costa Mujeres, The Advantage Travel Partnership announced that The Advantage Latitude Cruise Conference 2024 will be hosted in partnership with Ambassador Cruise Line onboard Ambience on the 3-night Amsterdam City Break itinerary from 24-27 October 2024.

Jonny Peat, Senior Commercial Manager – Cruise, The Advantage Travel Partnership, confirmed that the conference itinerary hosted onboard the premium value, no-fly cruise line’s first lady of the sea will include business sessions and a panel of experts. Advantage’s all-important supplier partners will also be joining the event representing ocean, river, and expedition cruises. He added that one of the key areas of focus for the 2024 Cruise Conference will be how delegates can encourage the next wave of cruisers, to drive further growth within the sector.

Peat said: “We are delighted to be hosting this conference in partnership with Ambassador Cruise Line and thrilled that it will be taking place in the bustling and dynamic destination of Amsterdam. By having our cruise conferences onboard a cruise ship our members can put themselves in the shoes of their customers and capitalise on the opportunity to experience first-hand what the host cruise line has to offer. For this conference, for the first time we will also be sailing from Tilbury, which will give any members who have not cruised ex-UK this added experience too.”

Louise Tansey, Divisional Sales Manager, Ambassador Cruise Line, added: “As Ambassador looks to work even more closely with the travel community in 2024, it is an honour for us to partner with Advantage to host the prestigious Latitude Cruise Conference. We’re really looking forward to hosting delegates onboard Ambience, where they’ll not only enjoy insightful business sessions and workshops but also the exceptional service, outstanding cuisine and amazing entertainment Ambassador offers to all our guests.

“With no-fly cruising growing ever more popular, we are thrilled to be able to showcase the amazing Ambassador experiences to delegates, who will also get the chance to explore Amsterdam and discover all that this magnificent city has to offer. Here’s wishing all Advantage agents fair winds and following seas ahead of welcoming you onboard in October!”

On top of the business sessions and supplier showcase, the 3-night itinerary will also give those attending the chance to explore all that Amsterdam has to offer, including its array of historical attractions and artistic heritage, including the Van Gogh Museum, the Anne Frank House, and the Rijksmuseum that is dedicated to 880 years of Dutch arts and history.

Peat concluded: “It promises to be another great cruise conference where delegates can get up to speed with the ever-evolving cruise sector and soak up the vibrant atmosphere that Amsterdam has to offer.”

Registration is open now here and Advantage’s Latitude Cruise Community members will benefit from a reduced rate of just £75 per person sharing and £150 for single occupancy in a cabin.
