The Advantage Travel Partnership Presents Its Revamped Cruise Marketing Tool, The Cruise Collection

The Advantage Travel Partnership, Britain’s largest consortium of independent travel agents, has announced its revamped and enhanced cruise marketing tool for members, The Cruise Collection. Previously called The Cruise Guide, The Cruise Collection will be in print for the first time showcasing 25 of the world’s most celebrated cruise lines including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Oceania Cruises and AMAWaterways in an inspirational magazine-style format to help consumers discover each cruise line’s distinct style and USP.

This new marketing tool has been produced by Advantage on behalf of its members to help them promote their expertise and knowledge within the cruise sector to their own customers, through their own channels. The guide is unbranded to allow members the option of personalising it and sending it out to their chosen client base. The guide acts as both a training tool for agents to help them understand the wide range of cruise partners available, as well as a marketing tool for them to share with customers to inspire them to book their next cruise holiday.

Advantage is printing approximately 12,000 copies of The Cruise Collection which will be given exclusively to Latitude members, Advantage’s cruise community. The Latitude community is free for members to join. A digital version of the guide will reach 50,000 consumers via a direct marketing email and for the first time a number of social media and email assets have been created to promote The Cruise Collection to allow members to promote the guide on their own channels. Advantage members Dawson and Sanderson, Fred Olsen Travel and Oasis Travel have already signed up for printed copies.

The 36-page guide will be released annually and is divided into ocean, river and expedition cruises to enable consumers to quickly discover details about their desired cruise type. The guide features a ‘Cruise Line Key’ highlighting what each cruise line is known for as well as a ‘Best For’ feature to help customers quickly decide the cruise line that’s right for them.

Jonny Peat, Senior Commercial Manager - Cruise, The Advantage Travel Partnership said: “The Cruise Collection is a fantastic, dedicated sales tool for agents and an inspirational publication for consumers to be able to flick through our amazing array of cruise partners and discover what they have to offer. We are confident that our members will use our guide as a tool to inspire and introduce cruise as an option, particularly to those who have never sailed before. This is our biggest-ever version which is a testament to how important the cruise sector is to us. The strength of our supplier partner is vital to securing commercial earning opportunities for our members which is why we are so delighted to have brands such as Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Oceania Cruises feature in The Cruise Collection. The cruise sector continues to grow at a rapid pace and we’re confident that we will capitalise on this booming sector in 2024.”
