Advantage Holidays & Cruise to increase its distribution through its expanded partnership with Travelgenix

The Advantage Travel Partnership’s in-house tour operation, Advantage Holidays & Cruise, has announced that it expects to see a significant increase in its distribution by making its fully flexible, dynamically packaged holidays available to members who utilise Advantage’s white-label website offering.

This new development comes as a result of Advantage’s continued partnership with Travelgenix who, along with Travel Marketing Systems, joined forces with Advantage for the launch last May of six, scalable and affordable website options made available to Advantage members, enabling them to effectively compete with the leading players in the online travel industry.

David Forder, Head of Marketing said: “Last year we redeveloped our website proposition to offer members a cost-effective scalable, modern solution to help future-proof their online presence and support them in reaching new customers. Since then, this initiative has continued to evolve, and our expanded partnership with Travelgenix means members who use our bookable website solution will now benefit from the ability to further utilise the Advantage inhouse tour operator to provide a wider range of options to their customers.”

Andy Speight, CEO of Travelgenix, added: "Travelgenix's award-winning technology is revolutionising travel business websites by delivering cutting-edge solutions that level the playing field for businesses of all sizes. Our commitment to innovation ensures that small and medium travel businesses are equipped with the high-end tools typically available only to the big names, helping hundreds of travel businesses to significantly boost their booking numbers. Collaborating with Advantage to develop this leading tour operator solution for Advantage Holidays & Cruise has been a great opportunity and we're excited about the positive effects it will bring for Advantage members in enhancing their travel sales."

Lee Ainsworth, Head of Operations added: “Over 84% of Advantage Members regularly book with Advantage Holidays & Cruise, so they are very used to what we offer, and feedback from members has been very positive. This increased distribution was a natural step for us and re-affirms our commitment to members to ensure they have access to competitively priced holiday options under the central Advantage ATOL license, reducing the onerous need to hold their licensing arrangements. It also demonstrates our continued strategy to deliver technology solutions which futureproof our members’ online presence.”

Advantage member Jake Cullum-Hollins, CEO of The Good Travel Franchise commented “''We are excited that Advantage Holidays & Cruise will be available for our customers to book via our website. This will expand our online offering, with more departure points and airlines, and more destinations than before, giving our customers more choice and freedom when starting their initial holiday search through our website."

As with any Advantage Holidays & Cruise booking, the agent owns the relationship with the consumer, earning a competitive commission for all bookings made, whilst Advantage Holidays & Cruise retains principal status of the package holiday contract.
