Advantage Travel Partnership to share re-opening retail outlet guidance for members

London, UK – 22 May 2020: The Advantage Travel Partnership is continuing to support its members throughout the Coronavirus pandemic and will be launching soon relevant guidance and assets to help members plan, adjust and adapt their retail stores and offices for reopening.

To assist members with their preparations to reopen and practical implementation tools, Advantage will share advice and guideline checklists, downloadable marketing assets and information about protective equipment and where this can be sourced.

The government’s health and safety advice is constantly evolving and with travel agents still in the throes of processing cancellations, re-booking clients and with large percentages of their workforce on furlough, Advantage understands the importance of ensuring agents have the most up-to-date advice in a simplistic format. Advantage is translating government information into various checklists for members, to cover off topics such as cleaning and hygiene processes and recommendations for spacing within offices and retail units.

In order to protect both staff and customers, Advantage will be creating a bank of assets for members to use and assist with social distancing policies within their offices and retail units. Advantage will also provide information and supplier suggestions for a variety of protective equipment companies.

Julia Lo-Bue Said, CEO at Advantage Travel Partnership commented, “We know that our members are eager to get their businesses back up and running as soon as it is safe for them to do so. We also appreciate that the world we now find ourselves in is so far removed from what we once knew. There is no prize for opening first, and it is important members plan correctly to ensure they can give their clients confidence to enter their shops and premises. The support we’re giving members with guidance, creating assets, and procuring equipment, will provide an additional layer of reassurance, to allow them to plan accordingly for their office and retail unit reopening.”
