American Airlines Latest News

Update: 29 November 2011

Following the news that AMR Corporation, the parent company of American Airlines, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, cover under Scheduled Airline Failure Insurance (SAFI) and / or Complete Supplier Failure Insurance (SFC) is hereby suspended for American Airlines with immediate effect as per the conditions of the Northern & Western Insurance Company policy wording.

Any tickets sold for American Airlines from 29th November 2011 will not be covered by your SAFI or SFC policy.
